Mission
It is the primary mission of Malatya Turgut Özal University to contribute to humanity and nature through the innovations it realizes with its available resources; to be productive in the fields of science, technology, and the arts while supporting critical thinking; to closely follow global developments; to conduct research and generate output for the future and stability of our country; and to operate as an academic institution active at national and international levels.

Vision
To be an innovative university that, fully aware of its responsibilities, conducts results-oriented scientific and academic research at the national and international levels in line with our country’s expectations and goals; that uses its knowledge and capabilities for the benefit of humanity and the nation; and that shapes the future by creating awareness from local to universal and from universal to local.
