1. Can Research Assistants / Lecturers Appointed to Applied Units Teach Courses?
Pursuant to Article 36 of the Higher Education Law (Law No. 2547), lecturers appointed to applied units and research assistants who have obtained a PhD, a specialization in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine, or proficiency in an art field determined by the Council of Higher Education (upon the recommendation of the Interuniversity Council) may be assigned teaching duties upon their request and subject to the approval of the University Executive Board.
