Malatya Turgut Özal University was established pursuant to Additional Article 181 of Law No. 7141, titled ‘Law on Amendments to the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decree-Laws,’ published in the Official Gazette dated 18 May 2018 and numbered 30425.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Personnel Department;

     • To carry out studies on the University’s human resources planning and personnel policy, and to make recommendations for the development of the personnel system;

     • To conduct transactions related to appointments, personnel records, and retirements of University staff;

     • To organize and implement pre-service and in-service training programs for administrative personnel;

     • To perform other similar duties as assigned.
